The Northampton
(1) The Postern Gate from Northampton Castle, demolished in 1662 after existing for almost 600 years.
(2) Queen Eleanor Cross, one of only 3 left from 12 erected bt Edward I to mark the route of his beloved queen's cortège to London in 1290.
(3) St. Thomas à Becket's Well, marking the legendary place where he drank at a spring on his flight to France in 1164.
