 Ireland - Mayo

Tony Austin from UK - Ireland - 06.10.2012

Downpatrick Head, Mayo
Downpatrick Head bears witness to the force of the Atlantic, and is situated in one of the most magnificent parts of the Mayo coastal region. The head is surrounded by striking rock formations, cliffs and creeks. It is na interesting district with varied scenery and nearby puffing holes. At Ballycastle (8 km), thatched cottages may be rented for holidays.
