UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1984, 2005 (extended) as Works of Antoni Gaudí.
The architecture of Antoni Gaudí is part of the Modernist style, but his designs are described as highly unique. The original listing featured Park Güell, Palau Güell, and Casa Milà; the 2005 extension added Casa Vicens, the crypt and nativity façade of Sagrada Família, Casa Batlló, and the crypt at Colònia Güell.

(1) Castellers: A castell is a human tower built traditionally in festivals at many locations within Catalonia. At these festivals, several colles castelleres or teams often succeed in building and dismantling a tower's structure. On November 16, 2010, castells were declared by UNESCO to be amongst the Masterpieces of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
(3) Tarragona Amphitheatre is a Roman amphitheatre in the city of Tarragona, in the Catalonia region of north-east Spain. It was built in the 2nd century AD, sited close to the forum of this provincial capital.
The amphitheatre could house up to 15 000 spectators, and measured 130 x 102 m.
UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 as Archaeological Ensemble of Tárraco - Catedral and The Amphitheatre, basilica, and Romanesque church.

(1) Claustro de la Catedral de Tarragona. The Catedral is a Roman Catholic church. Located in a site previously occupied by a Roman temple dating to the time of Tiberius, a Visigothic cathedral and a Moorish mosque, it was declared a national monument in 1905.
(3) The Pont de les Ferreres, also known as Pont del Diable, is a Roman bridge, part of the Roman aqueduct built to supply water to the ancient city of Tárraco, today Tarragona. The aqueduct bridge is located 4 km north of the city.
UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 as Archaeological Ensemble of Tárraco - Catedral and Aqueduct.
