Tarraco is the ancient name of the current city of Tarragona (Catalonia, Spain). During the Roman Empire was one of the major cities of the Iberian Peninsula and capital of the Roman province called Hispania Citerior or Hispania Tarraconensis. The full name of the city at the time of the Roman Republic was Colonia Iulia Urbs Triumphalis Tarraco. 

(1) Anfiteatro Romano. 
(2) The Roman Forum is a Roman archaeological site, It was built starting from 73 AD, by order of Emperor Vespasian, and remained in use until the 5th century. The worship area is now occupied by the Cathedral and other edifices.
(3) Catedral de Tarragona. 
UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000 as Archaeological Ensemble of Tárraco - The Amphitheatre, basilica, and Romanesque church, The Catedral and the Forum Romano.

Altura total do monumento 38 metros, altura do Cristo 30 metros, distância entre os extremos dos dedos 28 metros. Peso total 1145 toneladas. Inauguração: 12 Out. 1931.
