cloth, colored, Qing Dynasty, 62 cm long, 45 cm wide In the central part of this Thangka is Amitabha flanked by Avalokiteshavara Bodhisattva (right, lower). They enjoy a joint name of "the Buddhist Trinity". Around them are grand scenes in the Western Paradise.
